Digital Literacy 350 word thing

Digital Literacy is the ability to effectively and critically navigate, evaluate and create information using a range of digital technologies. It affects my everyday life because I use digital literacy every day. If it wasn’t for digital literacy I would not be able to contact my mom and dad and have less communication with my friends. Knowing how to use technology helps me and other people because I can help others how to use technology. Technology is a useful tool. We wouldn’t be where we are if it wasn’t for technology. Teenagers would be very different without the use of technology. You can contact anyone who is in touch with the internet. You can even meet people who live in another continent! For example, if you need to talk to your mom who lives in Oregon you attend college in Miami you can face time her or call her. One thing I learned on digital literacy is how to upload a video on YouTube, how to use snap chat, and search for hotels on trip advisor. I will probably upload videos the most out of all the new technology I learned. Then I will use snap chat for my friends at the boring times. I also learned to stay appropriate using digital literacy. If you want to apply for a job, having a bad reputation on the internet can affect that in a negative way. The best way to make sure you won’t have to worry about what’s in your twitter, instagram, etc. is to just not use them. You are doing an excellent job at what you are doing. I am having a blast in this class so far. The way you run the class is fun. I hope to have more classes with you in the future. =)
